09:30-10:00 Lorna Jane Mitchell: GitHub as a Landing Page

10:30-11:00 Coffee break
11:00-11:30 Sven Strack: Engineer Stunning (API) documentation
Many of us have heard about Docs As Code. Applying the same tooling and delivery CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery) pipelines as developers to improve the quality of (API) documentation sounds nifty. We’ll take a look at the philosophy, best practices and how to get started.
11:30-12:00 Jaap Brasser: Advancing Your API Strategy in an Infrastructure World
You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink. This is an accurate summary of what my initial journey of evangelizing API usage was like. In this talk I will take the audience through our journey, what worked, what didn’t work and what we learned along the way.
12:00-12:30 Anthony Roux: What Makes an API Product Successful?
In the jungle of public APIs, how do you build a product that will outplay the other ones? In today’s world having an easy to use API is not enough. Your competitors provide SDKs, interactive documentations, gamification, demos & tutorials. I will give your all the tips to have a rocking API product.
12:30-13:30 Lunch break
13:30-14:00 Maria Garcia: Bulletproofing Your APIs: Why Users’ Feedback Matters
The uncomfortable truth about DX: everyone talks about it, and yet only a few get it right. What about you? We know testing and feedback collection can be hard, but we’re here to tell you that it doesn’t have to be that way: from bug hunting challenges to hackathons, we’ve got a few ideas to share.
14:00-14:30 Mark Simpson, Alexandra Stramarko: Business Integration Made Easy with APIs
Integration is often seen as a technical burden rather than an opportunity to drive commercial relationships with customers. Get the proposition right through channel agnostic API-first documentation and you will attract business stakeholders as well as developers for sustained digital partnerships.

15:30-16:00 Alvaro Navarro: Effective API Governance: Lessons Learnt
Have you ever wondered how big companies deal with large amount of APIs? How do they keep consistency among the catalogue? Either if you are already running an internal API governance or you are thinking about start a new one, this talk will share our do’s and don’ts with the rest of the community.
16:00-16:30 Coffee break
16:30-17:00 Phil Sturgeon: API Descriptions as Production Code
API Description Documents (a.k.a “specifications”) can be used for all sorts of time and money saving things. Stop worrying about “keeping specs in sync with code” and use your specs as production code, speeding up development and reducing mismatch bugs.
17:00-17:30 Steph Shin: How to Embed UX Thinking in Your Next API
