Talk description

Bol.com started 20 years ago as an online bookstore, it has grown to 2000 employees, with more than a 1000 IT components and 100 IT teams. The goals is to become an e-commerce platform where public API's form the heart of an ecosystem. But what kind of organization and architecture is required for that. This talk will be about organizational and architectural choices we've made and are making (in the fly) to facilitate that journey and also about the challenges we face when it comes to creating and operating public API's.
