Distributed Docs: How We Slashed Build Times and Focused on LLM-Ready Content Generation
SESSION
Hear why we recently spent a year transforming our documentation system. We moved from a monolithic build process to a distributed model, cutting our build time from 3.5 hours to just 3 minutes. By pre-building linkable resource maps and integrating isolated content sources, we’ve streamlined workflows and made documentation more scalable. Our tooling now automatically generates LLM-ready content—like consumable text and embeddings—sitting in the background and getting out of the way, allowing engineering teams to focus on writing great content for wider consumption.
