Developer documentation has always been written — but what happens when it starts to speak, move, and respond? At Cloudflare, we’re exploring how video can make documentation more engaging, accessible, and discoverable.

This talk shares the messy, practical story of turning traditional docs into multimodal experiences. We’ll look at how Cloudflare’s Product Content Experience (PCX) team sources video scripts directly from documentation, uses AI for scripting, feedback and catalog, and experiments with ways to make these assets searchable and usable by both humans and machines.
You’ll learn what’s working (and what isn’t) when adding video to developer documentation, how lightweight AI tools accelerate production, and how even simple automation can help teams scale and structure knowledge in new ways.
